Carolyn is one of the tutors at Darlington Folk Music Weekend 2009, Darlington Arts Centre, Friday 30th October - Evening to Sunday 1st November - Tea time.

A weekend of traditional music, song & dance incorporating workshops, sessions and ceilidhs. With top quality tutors and musicians.

Carolyn is a qualified teacher and has taught at schools in England, Scotland and Wales. 

She is the Consultant on the recent BBC TV Folk Dance series for schools.  Until 1996 she was the Education Officer for the English Folk Dance and Song Society. 

Carolyn also directs Alton Community Choir, community-based singing with a wide-ranging repertoire including folk, blues and world music.
