"View the Land" and "Cottage Garden Trees" are collections of folk songs (complete with performance notes) arranged in three or four part harmony by Sarah Morgan.

The collections of fifteen and fourteen pieces respectively contain classic traditional songs such as "The Blacksmith", and "All things are quite silent", as well as some lesser known songs, and a few of Sarah's own compositions, including new rounds.

"...there is enough here to keep the harmony singer in a state of delight."
Paul Davenport, English Dance and Song

Sarah also wrote a book containing her own songs and music in settings for solo voice. It is called "Put the Stars to Flight" and contains 17 songs and two tunes. Among the songs is "Home Lads Home" plus an article explaining the background to the song.

Copies of "View the Land", "Cottage Garden Trees" and "Put the Stars to Flight" are available from Carolyn
